What is Spiritual Healing

Spiritual Healing is a divine science and holistic treatment that works to heal and re-balance the spirit and inner self which in turn can stimulate physical healing. Ideal for those undergoing periods of physical change- whether through illness, or at certain life-moments such as adolescence, pregnancy or menopause. It can bring about inner and outer harmony and stimulate a feeling of renewal and true wellness.

The Inner Balance

Losing your inner balance is often connected to a loss of contact with our own life-forces and universal cosmic energy. Over time these blockages can lead to illness and instability. 

Releasing these blockages positively affects the outer layers of a person bringing about more mental poise, better concentration, focus, and a settling of the emotions.

At Whitby Spiritual Retreat, you can undergo spiritual healing treatment to locate these blockages and release them over the course of a few single sessions, weekly sessions or at one of our regular retreats.

The Physical Body

Working with your healer to address your inner energy blockages, works positively to heal the outer self- the physical body- and any outward manifestations of these blockages. As the energy becomes more balanced, so the body chemistry is also brought into a state of better balance.  

Our intuition and other functions that have been forgotten or conditions that the body has not had the strength to deal with often begin to improve. This improvement can be gradual or dramatic but many clients see changes after just a few spiritual healing treatment sessions.

Whitby Spiritual Retreat has applied for charity status and is a non profit run healing centre located in historic Whitby.

Summer Hills and our Church Hall are owned and run by Architect and Reiki Healer Ursula Bradwell. At Summer Hills you can enjoy weekly services, undergo spiritual and Reiki healing, crystal therapies and take part in healing retreats. We also offer luxurious self-catering holiday accommodation on site.
